St. Mary's Food Bank partners with the Garden City Library and their youth services coordinator to conduct a summer reading program that provides books to children who come to our food bank.  Our volunteers also provide information on all the wonderful children's programs the Garden City Library has to offer.  This program is sometimes their first introduction to the benefits of the library. 

This summer we handed out over 700 books, and look forward to doing the same in 2019. 

St. Mary's provides diapers and nutritious baby food as part of our infant and toddler care.  Starting in 2010, St. Mary's was the first food bank in our area to stock and offer a steady supply of diapers to our needy clients. 

In fiscal year ending June 2017, we distributed over 60,700 diapers.

We continue this service today with the generous assistance of Idaho Diaper Bank, which provides us with the majority of diapers we supply.
